Scene/emo was in when I was in high school. Also, think early Ke$ha vibes. None of it was great, all of it makes me smile though.

I guess the skinny jeans - I've never gone back to bootcut

highschool 1967---------Bobbie brooks wool plaid pleated skirts with a big safety pin on the front/side. Knee socks with long sleeve blouse under a matching wool blazer.

Also could not wear to school but wore everywhere- plaid wool shorts with knee highs and a mohair sweater.

Loafers without socks. Patterned pantihose and black tights were also in.

As a guy, I remember Starter jackets being real popular. I had a New York Giants one. Air Jordan's, flights, and air max were the sneakers.

I loved my guess Jean's too. Everybody in the late eighties-early nineties had either a Jean jacket or a wind breaker. wind breakers kind of went out of style for over 20 years. Jean jackets faded for a bit.

side note. Anyone remember Skidz? Ugh, what was anyone thinking? I'm glad they were out as fast as they were in. Poof-gone.

What were Skidz? I don't remember them at all.

In addition to Air Jordan's, your era was the era of Reebok sneakers with the big tongue that you wore outside the laces and over top of the bottom of the pants leg. I was big into that, but I was out of high school by that time.

I remember Skidz. I didn't wear them, but I knew boys at school who did.

I remember those early 90s sports team parkas, too. Everyone and their mom had one.

I'm so glad I saved my Perry Ellis windbreaker! It's become cool again. lol

In the late Sixties DH had an earth-toned avocado three-piece corduroy suit he wore with matching wing tips and a paisley shirt. A splash of English Leather cologne. Oh my! Best dressed guy on the dance floor.

I loved the lacy Victorian look in blouses and the Olivia Hussey "Juliet" look and the romantic fashions in the Yardley English Lavender ads, but I also liked the mini-skirts and "poor boy" knit tops -- and, of course, the go-go boots!

Fashions in the 60's were FUN.
