This seems to be the trend these days & here are some examples:

So, what do you think about them & would you wear them?

I don't wear shorts that much anyway & get hot fast, so probably not. But, maybe some longer, more flowy styles on a cool day.

I don't hate them. I think they would probably look good on younger women, than people my age...but I think they COULD be really cute...like maybe wearing tights under the shorts, and wear them with boots? In my head, I picture them being pretty cute that way.

They seem like an oxymoron to me. Shorts made of sweater material reminds me of bathing suits that can't actually be worn in a pool. But then fashion isn't always supposed to make a lot of sense.

I live in Lands End sport pants and shorts. They are super comfortable, have just enough stretch, and never sag or bag.

Shorts in sweater knits seem strange, though. If it’s cold enough for a heavy sweater, your legs would freeze.

I remember these from the late 60s/early 70s.

Ugly then, ugly now.

This.
Maybe as a fashion item, if I was 15 years old? But no.

Right, but it's not to actually serve a purpose of warming. It's just another trend/look.

I wasn't born then, but as we all know, styles repeat themselves!

Ugly. Really ugly. That's a male perspective.
