But then wouldn't they say you have to throw out your pants every 6-9 months?
ETA: Yeah, that's "trousers" for all of you across the pond who are confused about "right, isn't that what this thread is about?" lol)
I've never heard of this. I still use underwear I purchased years ago and only throw away underwear that is not useable (no longer fits).
I'm the same way with all my other pieces of clothing. I don't spend much money on clothing at all, and I also still wear stuff I bought many years ago.
I do not unless I am at work or it is that time of the month.
Well, I clicked on this thread as I was mildly intrigued, and innocently assumed that everyone, male or female, wears a fresh pair of boxers or in the case of my wife, a fresh thong or knickers every day, (can’t say panties, don’t like the word), and junked them when they looked ready for the trash.
Then I read jerseygal’s post, and thought, “oh no, time to go.”
I have a washing machine for a reason and many pairs of underwear. I toss out when I'm tired of them and just want something new or they they stop fitting well or becomes stained or ripped. I just did a toss and replace a 3 years ago and got some pretty new colors!
