Ha ha that's what I was thinking, she looks like mother nature or mother nature's mother. lol.
I think we have a problem aligning aging with power in women especially, which is the opposite of what it really should be. Men are allowed to age and be wise and powerful, women's power is connected to beauty, and the standard of female beauty is youth. An older woman is looked at as washed up, invisible, instead of being seen as wise, worldly, experienced and therefore a greater force than a young less experienced woman. I'm not even talking about sexualization, just the essence of her and being able to reflect that in how she looks, without being nitpicked that she has "given up" or some nonsense.
Men are literally shaving off a full head of hair making themselves look older and being celebrated. Now middle aged guys are even growing long gray beards like Moses. They can be bald, salt and pepper, gray- and it's all good. If men can be Moses, women can be Mother Nature, it only makes sense.
