The belt reminds me of the London Fog trench coats that used to be popular. The classic bomber jacket with a belt at the waist (Like what Fonzie wore on Happy Days) would be the way to go but this looks like it's trying to be a parka length jacket and IMHO it's not doing it well. Pockets are big enough for a couple sandwiches.
I never really liked the look myself & I'm talking about on myself. Others do what they want.
