https://www.belstaff.com/us/men/leat...r-jacket-black - something like this for example - are they more interesting than a regular shorter jacket or do they look silly if there’s no motorcycle involved?

This is not really a motorcycle jacket, per se. It's too long for street riding and the sleeves can't be tightened onto the wrist and the leather itself may be too thin, bike jackets are typically 1.25mm to 1.75mm. It may be OK trials riding, where the rider never really sits down because the bike has no seat.

On a man: only if he is European
On a woman: maybe but she should be tall enough to make it look good

On anyone: probably looks best unbelted

Good thing I’m European then - ended up getting it and it actually looks pretty decent. Needless to say didn’t pay full retail, it’s a nice leather jacket but the $1700 retail price is beyond ridiculous.

Handsome and distinctive. I think it looks great Westie! American men should get on board with some stylin" like this.

^Agreed, 100%

The belt feminizes the jacket.
