So have you found it yet? The perfect white T-shirt. Every summer I am on the hunt. I bought a few on sale at Banana Republic the other day, but they seem to get all stretched out and wrinkly after an hour. The sleeves are on the short side, too. I'm thinking the ones at JCrew might be better because they are stretchier...

Anybody having any better luck? I'm into round necks.

I have not had the perfect white tee shirt since 1986. Still looking.

Pima and Modal, good.

I bought a hot pink perfect T at JCrew this afternoon. I think I'm going to return the Banana Republic ones I got and get some of the JCrew white ones. They have more elastic stretchy stuff in them, so they stay in place better. They were on sale for $15 today and a few of the colored ones were on sale for $10...

Oh, good prices. I love J Crew and Banana Republic but can rarely afford their clothing.

Nothing in the world like a great pair of jeans and a comfortable white t-shirt!

I swear by Ann Taylor's t-shirts. I also like J Crew and Lands End. Sometimes its better to pay more for a quality t-shirt, one that lasts long, wash after wash.

Ann Taylor and Ann Taylor Loft T-shirts. The Loft has a wider piping around the v-neck than the An Taylor shirt. I like them because both are longer. I like lomnger T-shirts, kind of like a tunic, but not quite. Also, I like my tee's fitted. I don't like baggy clothes.

I'll double check the brands when I get home, but I have a couple of plain colored (and white!) tees that are hemp and bamboo and they are so ridiculously comfortable and fit so well I couldn't recommend anything better!

Ditto. I have some things from J.Crew that I've had since high school - I graduated in 1994! Love them all.
