I am 5'9 and I love to rock heels......if I am in the mood. I have so many shoes, but heels are my fav. When Im on a date, in the club, out with the girls, etc, etc. Being tall, in 3 or 4 inch heels does something to your confidence .
But for the women who cant do it, DON'T. Heels are not cute if you cant walk in them
No type of platforms are trendy now. Trust me. Perhaps only those slight 1/2" ones, but we can't even really call them platforms.
I guess it depends on your definition of platforms. I saw a whole line of them in JC Penny last week and they were adorable - I think they might be part of Fergie's line.

Ladies, ladies, if you want to go ahead and wear your high platforms, that's fine... There is nothing wrong with that.
Trendy and acceptable. Anything higher then that is a bust.
By the way, platforms never ever really left the stores.
