there is public transportation. check out ORT (Ozark Regional Transit) they do run fairly regulary and if you know where the stops are you can utilize them to get around. Around Walmart ISD on Moberly, there are plenty of sidewalks and people do ride their bikes on the side walks. I live across from memorial park where there are plenty of trails for walking and biking but there is a mountain bike only trail not far called 'slaughter pen' that is popular among the mountain bikers

Plenty of people walk and ride their bikes from my apartment I have a 2 bedroom for ~650 but I understand there's a waiting list because it's quite popular. we have a pool and a volleyball court and there's a pool, tennis courts, skateboard park, soccer fields softball fields, and basketball courts across in memorial and orchard park. if you have kids appleglen elementary and washington junior high are walking distance from the park.

We've lived here for 6 months while our house is being built in Cave Springs. So far, we feel the decision to move was a good one.

here's a link to my blog: Relocating from New York to Arkansas

There are actually a lot of people who bike to work. My husband occasionally bikes in and the building he is in has showers downstairs. I have heard WalMart corporate does as well, though I don't know for certain. The trail system here in Bentonville is awesome, and always expanding. According to my understanding, Walmart encourages biking to work and even has their own bikes you can check out.
