So Arkansas approved (which I think is absurd since we are a "free" country but have to ask permission to handle something that grows naturally) Medical Marijuana for those that qualify. If you qualify, will you seek a doctor's recommendation to use it?

I know this is an amendment to the Constitution so the lawmakers must go to the voters for certain changes but they are still allowed to make adjustments. Are they allowed to add/remove qualifying issues or is that a voter only adjustment?

The way I understand it there are certain conditions like cancer and PTSD that are required to be covered but the lawmakers are free to add conditions.

Anyone know the qualifications for the Arkansas law? I have heard that California and Colorado qualifications were pretty much anything near athletes foot, hangnail, or dandruff.

I am disappointed anxiety is not on the list, as I was hoping to ditch prescription pills with all the side affects, however glaucoma is one I sadly may suffer from earlier than most due to an eye condition I've had since birth.

If they add anxiety they may as well just legalize it across the board.

NWA is possibly our new home. I'm glad this passed. I suffer from PTSD and marijuana helps. I can't use it unless I'm on vacation. And being in Louisiana does not help with it's backwards stance on it. Hell, it won't be until at least 2018 before cbd oil would be available to patients. Yet if you do smoke, you could be arrested if caught. Hoping to leave this state as soon as we can so both me and my wife can have medication that works without having to worry about breaking the law.
