Fayetteville continues to move higher in the rankings for best bicycling cities in the United States.

National bike advocacy organization PeopleForBikes this week released the third annual installment of its City Ratings program, and listed Fayetteville as No. 10 overall in the country.

Fayetteville entered the list at No. 45 in 2018 and moved to No. 15 in 2019.

It’s the second year in a row that Fayetteville was joined by two other Northwest Arkansas cities in the top 20 list. Rogers and Bella Vista also made the list this year, while Bentonville and Springdale joined Fayetteville last year.

Let's face it: NWA has a lot going to it, a lot more than most people, especially those not living in AR realize. WE seem to be the perfect mixture of urban and rural living combined.

How did Bella Vista make the list? Cycling on the roads is pure death wish.
Blind corners, short steep hills were you cant see whats coming up over the other side and no shoulder to speak of, just a rocky ditch.

Evidently you missed the title of the thread....FAYETTEVILLE, AR.

And Bella Vista has some excellent cycling trails.

Well of read the whole post BV was mentioned as making the list. And yes BV does have many miles of MOUNTAIN BIKE trails. I ride them often. Some of those miles are very tough. Most riders wear body armor and full face helmets.
A great cycling town to me had a good mix of trails, bike lanes and paths that allow you to leave your car at home. Kind of a narrow focus in BV in my opinion.
