I had quite a few fish in a 40 gal tank but eventually got bored with it and turned my aquarium into a paludarium, it has a few minnows in the water but the main feature is the swamplike ambiance of the water interacting with the foliage, plenty of examples on Google images, heres mine =http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g1...pswslexdy0.jpg

Do NOT overfeed- biggest mistake people make with tropical fish. I feed mine once a day- whatever they can eat in 2 minutes- max. It works- my fish are 8-9 years old. Also, make sure your PH, and Nitrate levels are good before getting fish. With a 10 gallon tank- no more than 10 inches of fish- total (Figure how big they will eventually get). Also, get fish that are compatible with each other.
