Looking for house to rent in Flagstaff area (Kachina Village: real estate, apartment)

Anyone who might know of a 3-bedroom house for rent in the Flagstaff area...preferably in the northside, Paradise Hills Park, Midtown Shopping center, Buffalo Park..or the southside, Bow & Arrow Park, Kachina Village..would you let me know? In fact any quiet neighborhood in Flagstaff or nearby towns as long as it is not right next to the RR tracks. Will be going to Flag on exploratory visit late March or early April; will save much time if I can go directly to owner/landlord during my short visit. We are flexible...but earliest we plan to move to Flagstaff is likely in the summer. Would like to lock on to a place before then to avoid the summer crowd. Only two occupants...myself and my wife. No pets, we don't smoke, do drugs, don't gamble, don't drink alcoholic stuff of any kind. Have references. I'm also checking the websites...but I'm sure there are rentals out there that are not advertised in the websites. Thanks.

There's not much available that's not on the internet, unless you get lucky. Checkout craigslist, the local realtors, search for property managers. A lot of stuff seems to open up in may / june...

Thanks, blindjesse---I have checked craigslist, there are a few but I am still checking other sources. If nothing promising comes up before I go there...I'll just wait until my trip to Flagstaff. I was just hoping to get some lined up on my agenda to see when I get there; might save some time as I only have a week in Flag to look around. After hearing all the bad rap about craigslist I am somewhat reluctant to contact possible leads in that website. Maybe I'm just being paranoid. I will at least check what's there, I suppose.

Rentals in Flagstaff are hard to come by, especially non-apartment rentals. Craigslist is probably the most frequently used service for finding rentals there. I think the local paper's website azdailysun.com - Flagstaff, Arizona has some real estate classifieds that might be worth checking out.
