I was curious when is a good time to go up to Flag to see the Aspen's change color? Is starting this weekend a good time?

A friend was up there yesterday. She said the trees were just starting to change. This weekend might be good. I usually go on 10/4 (give or take a day) and see the trees in full color.

Generally about the 2nd week of October to the middle of November is when you see the maximum color.

Yesterday, September 28, virtually all the aspens were green on the Kachina trail. I saw ONE tree with yellow leaves.
