Hi.

I've been seeking out information about Florida and the Tampa area. I have read many, many things, good and bad but I can't seem to find information about child care.

I understand that a lot of schools in the Orlando area have an extended day program which seems reasonable. but what about the Tampa area.

I did go on the school district websites but couldn't find out anything.

If there is no information regarding extended school care does this mean that the Tampa schools don't have extended day? And if this is the case, what is available for after school car in the Tampa and general surrounding areas.

Any information would be great, thanks

Osceola County has an amazing after-school program with the School District. It is only like $25 a week. I don't know about Hillsborough but in Osceola their is always a waiting list for this program because of the cost and the quality is very good as well. However, if you look into it during the summer then the chances of getting in it are much better. Good Luck!
