People hated him for his budget cuts, lets see what kind of venom is posted from the same people for his spending proposal...

Of course, the FHP giving out $100 tickets for vehicle safety issues in the Tampa Bay area should net the state some pretty hefty profits!

Yup. I imagine this will also be spun in a negative manner

LOL @ Rick Scott.

It's about that time he started thinking about re-election, I suppose. But I think the damage is done, no matter how much he tries to placate and repair now.

Exactly. He's trying to make friends so he can have another four years of padding his pockets. Also I certainly don't think many teachers have fallen for the transparency of his pay raise proposal.

Yep! Floridians, please don't fall for the rhetoric again.

At least he learned and saw what damage he did to the entire state. Hey, even children can learn through this kind of experiment but I won't be voting for him. He shouldn't be elected in the first place.

Don't hold your breath, Floridians in general aren't the brightest bulbs in the drawer.

It's so interesting to see how people want to cut things to save money. Floridians hire Scott who promised all these cuts and when he took a hatchet to the education budget his first year people got all upset. I don't see who people didn't expect him to make cuts to the education budget when he was saying it through his campaign ... Then the next year he's finding ways to increase the education budget because of all the flack he got the year prior.

I guess Scott learned in realty people don't want their program funding cut. Scott has also learned pretty quickly how government really works. If you want a long career, you can't hack the budget like people want you too and you need to make friends with the big voting blocks, i.e teachers. I hope Floridians don't forget what he did, and vote for the best person not a party.

You dems. He cuts budgets its horrible. He cut the budget well and put the state in the BLACK so now he increases the budget and its horrible. COME ON PEOPLE! What do you want?

Of course it's a big budget. The state actually has money, and I guess so,e people don't know these things well but there is this thing called inflation. So yea it is very likely the next budget of every year is the biggest in state history in sheer numbers.
