Is a vehicle parked on the lawn generally a sign that you’re in a bad neighborhood?

Not always, but it's a sign that the people there are dragging down property values or will he shortly. If you see a 2 or 3 BR home with a driveway full of cars and then some on the lawn, AVOID. This is big red flag that the home is packed with too many people or renters, you are going to have problems and drama at some point.

If there is no driveway, or just a single parking pad on the property you sould expect car or 2 on the lawn. Just think in terms that each working adult in the house has a car, possibly a teenager.

I live in a neighborhood of multi million dollar homes (mine is one of the poorer ones valued at 2.1 million), and my last look on the crime map, no crime at all in the last 90 days, and there are sometimes cars parked on the lawn, especially during an event.

A neighborhood where a friend lives, the homes are in the mid 500k ranges, there is every now and then a car on the yard, but the driveways there are stupidly small compared to the home, but in any case, the last 90 days showed an attempted larceny.

That's all you see in west Pasco. All the tiny 2 bedroom homes built in the early 70's for two peeps are how full with 5 or more peeps and the tiny yards don't have enough drive way ray so no room for 5 cars.

Depends on what you consider a bad neighborhood. To me it's one where your neighbors give a damn what you do with your own vehicles or lawn.

Remember when garages were actually used by most for parking their cars in?
