Parts of Miami are not that expensive, and income level there is very low. I could afford it, and I still wouldn't live there if you gave me a house. All good.

Two different worlds. The ppl up there are far more civil, far more friendly, etc. Its a different way of life and a lot of ppl are tired of the rat race. She lives in South FL, anywhere south of Northern PBC is a pile.
Correct. I was raised in the Brevard County area and have been in South Florida (Boynton, Deerfield Beach and now Coral Springs) now going on 4 years. I am STILL in culture shock and can not believe the things I experience down here. My parents have another home in the Northern NC area and can not wait to get up there (from Brevard). The reasons you listed are exactly the reason I want out of here.

My significant other is a Manager at a grocery store in West Boca and I TRULY feel sorry for him. It's only a matter of time before we are going to move. (We have to play our cards right).

I originally moved here to be close to my best friend and the ease of traveling to Peru, a country I volunteer and help poverty stricken kids, but now I think I made the wrong decision based on my health and the lack of stress free living. I just want a nice city with normal traffic, things to do, decent people, near the Beach without having to be a Donald Trump. This is really starting to affect my health. Another friend recommends North Palm Beach and another friend/Realtor wants to show me a Condo at the Ritz Carlton on Singer Island but at $1.2M bucks!

Honest opinions?
IF someone wants to show you expensive condos it must mean you have money. Maybe you are living above your means. if you want no traffic move to Wyoming. I bet people are nice there too.
