Exactly. When Chipotle screws up my order (which is much less common than TB, I get an apology, and one time, even a free dish coupon). When Taco bell screws up, it's like a blank stare.

You get what you pay for.

Quality of people hired for the money being paid! This is what you end up with for employees.

Chick-fil-A seems to be able to hire competent employees. Most of them seem like clean cut high school kids that will probably leave the job when they go off to college.

I'm not sure if Chick-fil-A is in the OP's budget. I'm pretty sure they don't have a dollar menu.

Exactly.
One could make the same argument about Publix vs Wal-Mart employees. They're paid similar wages, but yet there's a massive difference in employee competence.

I want value when I eat out. That's why I said on the other thread that I won't pay $5 for a tiny shake at Shake Shack.

A chipotle bowl is value when you really examine it. Ends up being 1.5-2 meals for me when I get the soft taco shells on the side. Plus better quality obviously

Americans eat out too much anyway - it's why the nation suffers from a tsunami of obesity.
Eat out=eat crap.

It's not overpriced if you're willing to pay for it, which you did.

If you want value when you eat, perhaps Joey should try the dollar menu then. Or maybe just cook at home which is probably a much healthier alternative. I used to frequent fast food all the time when I was younger but when you can set a McD's hamburger out, open, and it doesn't even turn bad after a month, it's time to reevaluate your food choices.
