Sf is exceptional. Much dirtier and full of homeless compared to NYC. Needs someone like giuliani to come in there and clean things up

Fl is socially moderate, not conservative. The deep south like bama, ms etc are truly socially conservative. Fl just passed medical marijuana and even attitudes towards gay marriage have shifted dramatically.

Don't forget, last decade, cali tried to ban gay marriage with prop 8 which passed successfully in 2008 with over 52% of the vote. Think about that for a minute next time you think cali is so much more liberal than everywhere else lol

I'll take fl any day with its fiscal conservatism and social moderation over cali and it's liberal everything and ridiculous taxes

Not according to the statistics, NYC still has more homeless people in population, SF is behind LA and even San Diego.

It is dirty but still does not rank as high as other cities in the US many of which I lived near or in and NYC still ranks #1 in this study.

San Francisco has about 800,000 people compared to New York's 8.4 million.

San Francisco is filled to the rims in homeless people and if you walk through areas like the Tenderloin, there are more homeless than regular people. Heck, even in neighborhoods with $2-5 million homes, you still get homeless going through your trash cans.

Lived there for 7 years, it's a very compact city, roughly 7 miles by 7 miles. There is no area that doesn't have homeless in San Francisco.

I did not read the specifics, they may have included the metro area, East Bay, South Bay and etc.

Nyc used to be pretty seedy in the 80s until Giuliani came in and cleaned things up. Sf could use a little of that

3. The state of Cali has the most diverse landscape in the nation - from Forest to Canyon to Mountains to Desert to Beach to Any other platform. Meanwhile Florida has no mountains; it's a huge swamp land full of mosquitos and alligators.

4. Not really, Cali has thousands of affordable cities with new houses.

5. Tax is necessary to keep the state of CA at the top unlike FL which doesn't care.

This again proves why Cali is superior to Florida.
Florida wins the battle of the beaches hands down, so your #1 point is wrong. California beaches are too cold and kind of dirty. Spend the month of June sitting under clouds with 60 degree temperatures at the beach if you like. I prefer summer weather. Plus the water is actually warm enough to swim in Florida.

CA beaches are pretty to look at, FL beaches are great for actually going in the water. CA native.

Thats why Washington State I feel is the better compromise between the 2. Not as liberal as CA but more than FL is. Funny thing is, in a social conservative area like the deep south, it would be a very honest representation of the folks there and if it ever became blue, it could improve. Can the left turn over some of the red deep south and get the people to realize that they can help their health care plans? Bernie spoke in WV not long ago to the poor whites who voted Trump out there. The ones who realize Trump may have screwed them over. And even one guy said, its amazing how a socialist from the northeast has my best interest more than a lot of the politicians down here do.

FL though has a solid economic conservatism though yes.. thats how Trump got in but its still bad I dont care what you say. I relate better to extremes, not phonies who try to seem reasonable when they're the ones screwing you over the hardest. Moderate conservatism gets nothing done, it upholds the status quo and its meant to **** any more radical minded person off.

Trump got in because Hillary was his opposition and she was the ultimate insider with her own baggage. He's an unhinged nutjob which people are finally starting to realize now with his approval rating at 35%, unprecedented for a president in his first 100 days.

Obama care support is at all time highs and many "conservatives"hate to admit it's actually a republican idea to make everyone personally responsible and buy their own health insurance.

Fiscal conservatism is fine. Trump isn't fiscally conservative, he went bankrupt six times and would probably bust the budget like George W Bush did with a big tax cut for the rich. Not sure I like the bum Bernie Sanders either...You should read his life story. He literally was a bum on people's couches until his first paycheck from the government as a senator. The problem with socialism is that eventually, you do run out of other people's money
