Which part of Florida? You have a very unique Keys culture to a heavily Caribbean and Latin influenced South Florida culture to the Florida Crackers in central and a very deep south in other areas. And still a lot more than that...

Which is why it's ridiculous to suggest Florida isn't cultured or has much of a culture. The State has a very rich history with all sorts of cultural experiences everywhere you look.

You are right!
The OP asked what people considered culture.
I originally just meant to state my definition and things got totally out of control

Culture to me means arts and ethnic things.

BUT, I stand by my logic that just drinking is not culture.
If you're standing around at a festival drinking and people watching-imo that's not cultural.
Even though that's one of my favorite things to do- people watching
I'm entitled to my opinion which is what the OP asked for
To be fair, the OP did seem to ask what people consider culture

It's still kind of an odd question. Culture is culture, it is what it is. Maybe "what cultural experience do you enjoy?" would have made more sense. In which case you seem to prefer stage shows, opera, and art galleries.

Standing around drinking at a bar may or may not have a cultural experience attached. For example, when I travel to other countries, the traditions and atmosphere at a local bar may vary quite a bit from what I'm used to here. In that case, it's enjoyable to experience their different customs.

You say culture means arts and ethnic things. That's exactly what I'm saying. Maybe "ethnic" means something different to you?

Exactly. People blat about Florida lacking culture are just looking for a reason to blat.
That or they're confusing culture with hobbies and entertainment...

There's no dinner, clubs, opera, shows, concerts, art museums in this life.
What you just described is a culture. You could probably call it "homebody culture."
