I read the article. I don't understand it. Does it mean large cruise ships will remain in KW or be banned?

Sany here's the long version....in spite of the way the liberal media is spinning it

....yes, cruise ships can continue in Key West

There's 3 docks in Key West....one Federal...one city...and one private
...the liberal media is only focused on the one private dock owned by Walsh...because it makes a better story for them

The bill as it was introduced by Key West would set a precedence ... giving local voters control over maritime commerce

Imagine what would happen if local voters in Miami decided to shut down the port of Miami...
...well, that's what the bill entailed...and what it amounted to

It was a badly worded, not thought out, knee jerk reaction....
Rather than sitting down, negotiating, working through it.....the people in Key West pushing this rushed a emotional hamstrung bill....and totally blew it

As fas as I know...It seems like FREE Parking from Key West has vanished from the scene, unless for special dates you Park outside of the Island and get bused in ... Parking rates are steep, but I suposse not updating a meter will mean an even steeper Fine, so that's the Story for now.

The Liberal Media has not a thing with me or the opposite. This is just about the only news outlet I found out of the Keys.
