Had a chance to speak with my own physician this morning about monkeypox and its evolution and transmission, etc etc.

Along with my own physician and my uncle and sibling , they all had similar medical assessments. All also asserted the guidance and public proclamations are fraught with politicalizations and political correctness that was floated not only with HIV, but Covid-19. They had no praise for the CDC, NIH, JAMA - zip...which was a bit of a surprise. It has no useful purpose here to go beyond that. I certainly was satisfied and grateful for their time and expertise.

Have a good Monday ! (more early rain !!)
Thanks for the update. Happy Monday!

It seems abundantly clear that temporary behavioral modification would be quite likely to bring the spread of this particular virus to a grinding halt within two months. Unfortunately many aren't interested in discussing that.

My fear is that this virus becomes permanently endemic due to reverse zoonosis events. While I haven't been following the news about Monkeypox very closely, I have seen little to no discussion about reverse zoonosis allowing for the establishment of a mammalian viral reservoir, and that's disturbing. If it is in fact being discussed, it needs to be discussed much more loudly.

Personally I feel folks do not use commonsense. IF there is a "virus" going around, WHY do you feel the need to be up close and personal??? Today is my Walmart Day, wish I had my daughter closer to shop for me. I go every Wednesday as that is the day of the month my Social Security arrives. Other than that, at age 64, I am not out. I went ahead and quit my Retirement Job, yes the one that supplemented my Retirement Social Security. Missing the "extra" but I need to stick around for my "future" grandkids.
