No it’s not exactly that. It’s just a cute sounding cliche. Go move to the slums of Africa then.

What the hell are you talking about? You're lucky I have thick skin and support free speech; otherwise I'd have reported your comment as racist.

Go to the slums of wherever. I’m talking about some places are better than others no matter how great one may be at having little to no problems or vice versa, the external environment DOES matter. Where we LIVE does matter.

There are better places with a higher quality of life than Florida and USA as a whole. Just saying.. and yes there are places worse too.

Look, some places are great and even superb for a while, even a long while - then stuff hits the fan, or quality of life goes downhill - anyone who is a native southerner and Floridian can see and feel for themselves that many many considerations/lifestyle/economies/populations have gone to the negative over the past 15-35 years, but especially since the mid to late 90s or so.

That is particularly evident between Tampa and say, Venice. Yes, things have changed for the overall negative. Why essentially?? too many trans, too much stress on infrastructure, too many bad attitudes. People have been the culprit in negativity - not necessarily things like the climate, or even the governments. People, culture, and decisions by people. People are always the fulcrum. That's what has happened to most life in Florida. It's a people problem, not just the "environment". The Wrong People brought their own misery and krap with them - what should we expect? lol. Lots of people just ssuckk....duh

I suspect this is pretty much true no matter the location, not just Florida.

I just hate the weather most of the year. But i would hate it anywhere north of here. Cuba has always been my dream place if we can ever free it up. I would get more canes jane and more rain jane and have better offshore fishing. We have fished out the gulf to the point there are few grouper left.
