My definition differs. To me, winter isnt complete without at least 2 inches of snow and temperatures no higher than 25 degrees. Florida looks the same in the summer or winter and it rarely gets cold in Florida, I can go outside shirtless at midnight and not feel cold!

Very good point
people need to remember this when making general statments about Florida.
Just because you are paying very high taxes and insurance doesn't mean everyone is
Just because you are aweating 24/7 doesn't mean everyone is.
Just because you may be unhappy doesn't mean everyone is.

We are expecting another "hard freeze" Thursday and Friday up here in Jax. Time to drag out the sheets.

I laugh when people talk about it freezing overnight and they call that cold.

Is all relative to the location and to the individual, example if you live in a location that great part of the year the temperature is higher than 75 degress, 30 degrees is considered cold.

During my stay in Grand Forks North Dakota 20 degrees was considered HOT, now we stayed normally below -20 degrees for 30 days at a time.

Freezing is 32 degrees. Therefore, 30 is below freezing and that means I'd be one miserable woman! Seventy is plenty cool for me thanks.
