I am a registered voter in Broward County. I live in Coral Springs, but my mailing address on my drivers license is a Pembroke Pines address. It's one of those UPS store adresses that I use for mail. Anyhow, do they ask for ID when I go to vote (i forgot) and if so, will the fact that my license shows a pembroke pines address have any consequences with me being able to vote in my regular Coral Springs precinct ?

never mind....I answered my own question by visiting the broward county elections site :


Rumor: The address on the voter’s driver’s license and the address on the voter database has to be the same in order to vote.
Fact: Even though Florida law requires a photo identification with signature to vote and a driver’s license is most commonly used for this purpose, the license is used solely for the purpose of identifying the voter. The voter will be asked to confirm their current address to ensure they are voting in the correct precinct. However, the two addresses do NOT have to match.
