hello everyone.

i was born & raised in the great southewest & will be moving to the seminole area for my 5 year old son. he just started bauder elementary school & i'm looking for a room to rent for about 6 months until i can get established & rent a place of my own.

my x-husband was born & raised in seminole & has been living there for the past 4 years. my son joined him last year & now its my turn. we agree that seminole is a great place to raise our son due to the fact that the school systems are better, there is more opportunity & more family support here. Unfortunately for me, the only people i know include my x-husband & his family.

i am excited for the move but am hoping & will apprciate any feed back on the city of seminole.

thank you to all that reply,

I used to work in Seminole, for a time, Seminole High was being talked about as the next Columbine, this was a few years ago. Was pretty nice 15 years ago, but now I would NOT live there. Lots of social clicks, bigotry, hate, funny money with your taxes. Notice the lack of diversity, it is not an accident. (I wore a badge at work).

Seminole is very nice. I've always regarded it as a good, clean, safe area. I've also heard the schools were good.
