In Broward County, about 80-90 MPH, although FHP has been out in full force lately...it's hard to move past the 70 MPH speed limit now.

They were out in Manatee County today. I was on my way home from Busch Gardens. I was following the traffic flow and of course got pulled over. So did the people in front of me. The lady cop said there was the sky police (don't remember what it was really called) they radio to the cars who got us. Needless to say it was a very expensive day all around.

If someone is going 70, they had better be in the slow lane. 75-85 is pretty normal.

I got the ticket for going 86. I think its $291.00.. I left of course going slow the entire way home doing 70 and people were passing me like I was standing still. It felt like I was crawling too.lol

I drive a small 2 seater car. When I drive around 80-85 out on I-75, I have larger cars and trucks pass me and nearly blow me off the road. There are many instances when cars passing me have to be approaching 100.

That is one thing I love about Florida-you can get out in the interstate and move a little. Up north they even still have 55 mph speed limits, and people drive 55. Yikes, you might as well walk.

I always cruise 7-8mph over the speed limit. I don't think they will bother writing you a ticket unless it is 10 or more over.
