Sorry....

Just found it out myself.

I am still looking, allot of great buys in Central Fla areas.

Even more if you like Southwest Ft Myers/Cape Coral area which I love but is too far down for what we want to do in Fla.

There are 233 in the SW alone! How many people do you think live in that area? I feel bad for all those people (the ones who are not making out on the deal).

Don't know but most live in the SE or SW the NE and NW section is just getting started and is building pretty fast.

Yes it is sad when this happens for sure, but again it is NOT a Florida only problem.I looked at some cities in Ohio it is unreal. It is nation wide and I truly believe it is because mortgage lenders lent money while in the overload cycle like the credit card companies did for years. They just went to far with lending out money on homes that were overpriced to start with.
Countrywide is huge lender and the former CEO said the problem they had was people refianced homes to pay of CC debt and cars etc, putting them in a bad spot.

Well..... lenders I think are a huge blame for this, they are suppose to be more financially responsible with money then us, but they overloaded people.
I think it was Homecomings who did the mortgage loans that they had fake higher then REAL value appraisals done on homes and buried people into debt by paying home other debts and got caught.

With so many people wanting to move to Fla I thought this link would be a great help, what I see is many of these homes were way overpriced or valued to start with and the people got caught up in them. Again partly the lenders fault for allowing people to overburden themselves.

Same cycle as the credit card companies did in the 90's.

Gosh, there are some unreal buys in Naples... wow!
3000sq ft homes with pools on 1 acre for 275k in Naples !!
