Notice how quickly someone pointed out that the fees were going up but are silent about the fees going down.

Do you often complain about good news?

Because it's automated. They don't have to take your picture again. You can do it online also. I paid $25 for 7 years or however long my license lasts for. Why should I pay an equal amount to change my address or get a replacement?

There are some small dividends to this being an election year.

My fee annoyance- the title reissue fee is like $80 or something. We financed the Adventure Wagon, and it would be nice to be able to get a new title for like $20 or less showing us owning it free and clear instead of having to also keep track of our payoff/lien release letter from the finance company when it comes time to dispose of the vehicle.

I agree with you and I renewed my license in 2009. Since then I have moved 3 times and I was not going to blow $25 each time just to keep my license current simply because of my address.
I renew my tags each year and they know where I live so why can't they cross reference that info with the DMV and just re-issue me another license for a nominal fee of $5 or so and just mail it to my current address?
Yes Florida is a low tax state when it comes to Income taxes but they gouge you to death with fees, tolls, property taxes, etc.

lol i Haven't changed my address on my license since I was 16.... have moved several times since then. Not sure of the ramifications of not doing that and I agree it's a stupid and overpriced fee for what it is.
