The Month of May this year was incredibly nice and mild in my opinion. I live relatively close to the water, and it cooled down nicely at night, with good breezes. It seems when June hit the rain and humidity came back, but it's really not that bad. As someone mentioned above, if you look at a weather map, it's hot everywhere in the US!!

Shorts and T-shirts and Sandals!!!

I don't remember the exact temp in Vero two days ago but I know that I've been taking a walk every morning, gardening, and enjoying my life, indoors and out. I don't know where you live in Virginia but today the high in Alexandria is 94.

Anyone that thinks the weather Florida is having (Central Florida) is bad this Spring/Early Summer is just a complainer by nature. This is the best weather Orlando has had in AGES. It's been low humidity, cool at night and sunny during the day. Perfect weather by our standards. The only downside is no rain.

So what if Virgina, NC, SC, GA are hot, yes Florida is hot too. The difference between Florida's summers and Virginas summers is, Florida will be hot and humid for 6 months. Virgina will have only 3-4 months of heat/humidity. IMO 2-3 months less of heat/humidity wins. And up north the nights are cool also which is nice.
