1 - 2 Pounds Stew Beef (frozen for now)
Fettuccine or Linguine Noodles
2 Cans Swanson Chicken Broth
2 Small Cartons Buttermilk
Salt & Pepper (if you want to use it)
1 Stick Real Butter
Put the frozen Stew Meat in the slow cooker on low overnight or all day. When it is done take out the beef and set aside.
Start the pasta to cook until tender but not mushy
With juice from beef put om the fire and add the butter and a couple tablespoons flour to make a rue
Add chicken broth and buttermilk, bring to a boil then simmer until pasta is done.
Take a couple ladles of pasta water and set aside then drain pasta but do not rinse.
Mix pasta water, beef and chicken broth with the pasta.
You. An also use frozen chicken tenders that are boneless and skinless or chicken breast shredded after cooked.
