I have a huge chest freezer I use those square plastic milk crates to make compartments in mine. Veggies, meats, breads, dairy works well. Happy bday to your DH lucky duck having you cook for him.

Debsi have fun in Cali!

satx isn't it funny in the south y'all tend to eat cornbread with chili up here most folks use crackers. Of course nobody can agree what cracker is best in the Jaxson household so I have to put out oyster, Townhouse & saltines.

Taterburger casserole, steamed broccoli, green beans and fresh out of the oven sugar cookies for dessert.

Thanks Jaxson! The freezer I want isn't so huge I think I'll have trouble getting to the bottom, but I read that it's a good idea to have an inventory list so I will TRY to be that organized...

I love chili with crackers! Must be because my mom is from Pittsburgh!

I love cornbread with chili, but here lately I have been putting Cheez-its in my chili, soups, etc. instead. So good!

My daughter sent a text requesting fried chicken for dinner yesterday but it was too late to take some out. So I'm frying chicken and potato fries tonight.

Ended up not having the stuffed cabbage rolls the othe night so we're going to have them tonight with mashed potatoes and a green salad. Not feeling great today...a bit of a stomach upset. My grandaughter probably won't be able to come over if I'm sick but there is always next weekend and that is for 4 days!
