Lord help my waistline, but I went to an office Christmas dinner and had Lobster Macaroni and Cheese, Caesar Salad, and tiramisu..a few glasses of wine too.
Poor DH cleaned up the leftovers in the fridge.

Cyn, do you have fresh mussels or do you use those frozen ones? DH loves mussels but I don't so poor thing doesn't get them that much.

i bought the fresh ones a couple of times but it seemed like a lot of work rinsing them and sorting them etc.

Finally a day off today. Already washed, dried & put away 3 loads of wash. Our Company party is tonight, and our grand opening tomorrow. I plan food shopping now, then relaxing for the rest of the day, til party tonight, and will be tired tomorrow night, so no cooking for this and friday night.

Love to plan & make meals, but once in awhile it's nice to take a break.

I'm making Lima bean soup with ham as I type. Most likely I wont eat that tonight as it's better the next day.
So then Chicken wings baked in the oven with plenty of onion, and garlic powder, salt and pepper for tonight.
