My favorite is Cento Italian Imported in Olive Oil, it is a very rich tuna that is delicious in an Antipasto.

Kelsie would know better than I ..but I love canned tuna. I'm buying Bumble Bee Albacore now as I've been told others are now processed in China. In fact i just bought more tonight and wanted to double check. I will not knowingly eat anything from China! Starkist and Chicken of the sea have all turned to mush. Is this because of processing in China?

Safcol albacore in brine - but it's an Aussie brand - can't get it here more's the pity as the cans are TWICE the size of the largest on sale in the US. I've never been able to figure out why when SO many non healthy items are available in larger than large sizes (like sugared cold cereals) the healthy stuff is sold in piddly little sizes.

I usually buy the Starkist albacore in the waterless packs........

I find the "light" tunas are mushy - would never eat those in a fit, even for tuna patties.

Cheapest can, on special if possible.

Chicken is an excellent cheap substitute for tuna.

Trader joe's Tongol Tuna in water is fine by me. It's not as rich and fishy as premium oil-packed tuna from Europe but you're not paying gourmet prices either.

I like Empress, white, water pack. Sometimes I buy some cheaper tuna to mix in because I like the stonger flavor.
