Hi Caligula and happy Saturday to ya!
The Hofmann (just 1 F) "German brand" franks, in casings, are in a red and beige (sort of) package of 6 franks per pack.
Oddly, I cannot find the same packing on any Google search. They all look different than mine.
They are very good quality dogs, from Syracuse, N.Y..
I must add that they have pretty much no seasonings(!), which means, for me, that they taste like whatever I put on them! Weird....they're made from beef, pork and veal but they're nothing like a Nathan's or Shofar. I like the snap to them and knowing the meat is of good quality....then I use sweet onions and/or jalapeno peppers, etc. to give them a nice flavor! ....
Just tasting the chicken broc casserole for later Father's Day din din
