Tried these for the first time in decades. They don't taste the same, but I don't know if that's me or the product. I won't be going back for more.
It wasn't you. I was soooo excited when those came out again. What they failed to mention was that they brought back the old design, not the old flavor. They tried to make people THINK they brought back the old flavor, but they didn't. (And they know it. They thought if they put the new taco flavor in the old bag people would think it's the old taco flavor. It's not.)
Nope. Their new taco flavor tastes nothing like tacos at all. The old recipe was the best chip flavor ever! I actually wrote to the company and let them know how disappointed I was in them and that I think they tried to pull a fast one. Yes, it's just a chip. It's not a big deal and life goes on. But, that doesn't mean I can't let them know that I know that they know they pulled a fast one! LOL

I believe they use GMO corn now.... probably more chemicals than in the past, too... Besides.... a bag of chips costs - usually - over $2. What's up with that?

Hi SK. Fritos still taste the same, though. I think it's the flavoring powder they use on the taco chips now.
I prefer the bag, but if all u got is a can I won't say no. The taste is different though.
