i see they have these new soups that are supposed to be premium quality. they have them on sale and i have a coupon, so im considering picking up a couple. its still not a super deal so i was wondering if anyone tried them and what they thought.

while i dont like food that tastes over salted, the salt content doesnt matter to me. so if its too salty by taste, thats bad. if its too salty by content, no biggie.

I read about them in one of the finance mags I get, I think. (Canned soup sales are down and they had been losing market share to supermarket soups).

They look good but I usually make my own soups so I'm not sure that I'll try them unless they are on sale + coupon.

I've had the Chicken Chili. It's good, more substantial than regular soups, but it is kinda of salty tasting, IMO. Worth a try though.

OMG! $2.50? I remember when campbells was 19 cents a can!
I'm gonna check this stuff out. I gotta say you sound a bit gourmet at that price Capt'n.

its on sale 2 for 6 and i have a 1 off 2 coupon. i looked at the soup area and it seems like the campbell chunky's and other soups were over 2.50. so i guess its not so bad in the world of soup, if its really premium. its too expensive for me, but if my wife liked it a lot id get it for her.
