I grilled cheeseburgers, bbq beans. Had ice tea with it. Nothing like standing over a hot grill when it's 100 degrees outside.

I think I've got one of my adventuresome disasters coming out of the oven in an hour, am holding my breath, crossing my toes.

Real foreign, a dish from Israel/Middle East: Chicken smothered in a sauce with orange/lemon juice, paprika, honey, ginger, nutmeg, onions, olives, salt, pepper.

Have never cooked any food from that part of the world. This may be my very last!

At the moment it is a toss between a big salad with Emmental, Pancetta and Boiled Eggs or Thai Broth Mussels... Can't decide, will wait closer to dinner time.
