Probably they are better than nothing, but the real thing is still a better choice. I would add, I don't thin V8 is any better or maybe even as good as store brands and it is much more expensive. My husband likes Aldi's veggie juice the best.

The V8 Fusion drinks are a combination of vegetable and fruit juices. They are the equivalent of eating fruits and vegetables but do NOT contain all of the fiber that you would get if you ate all of the fruits and vegetables. The problem with drinking a lot of fruit juices is that they have a lot of sugars and there is a tendancy to frink a large portion.
The traditional V8 vegetable juices are low in calories and contain some fiber. They are a very good source of vegetables BUT they also contain a lot of sodium. Campbell's does offer a low-sodium V8 juice that is pretty palatable.
If you have ANY allergies, I strongly recommend that you carefully read the labels of V8 and Ocean Spray fruit juices and beverages as they have a lot of natural ingredients that are counterintuitive like celery and carrot juices is a fruit beverage.

No, it's not. Anything that processed, cooked, canned is not a substitute for fresh fruit or vegetables.
Regular V-8 is loaded with sodium, I love the stuff and add more salt, pepper and hot sauce.
I dont drink it much but it's a treat once in a while.
yes, it is loaded, but they make a low sodium V-8 juice now: my advise, don't buy it. We did, it is filled with sugar and really bad, bad, bad. I will enjoy the sodium, add some pepper and the hot sause as well, but I don't add anymore salt.
