It's not more expensive where I live -- it may be distributed by the same company that distributes Mountain Dew and Canada Dry and A&W root beer because they'll have 4-12 packs for $10 or $12 and Vernors is included.

Ugh! Ginger Ale! My Grandparents drank cases of that stuff. And according to my Granny, Ginger Ale was the "cure" for anything and everything. The thought of the smell of it makes me nauseous.

Do you guys remember Vernors?

I'm drinking some now. It's still strong as ever.
I haven't had that for a while, but boy do I remember it being VILE!

I like Schweppes and C-Dry.

Oh yeah, I remember Vernor's growing up in western NY... love it, though harder to find around my neck of the woods these days. So now I have to settle for 'woosie' ginger ale like Canada Dry (good for settling the tummy too), at least until I can find some of the ''good stuff''!

Vernors is the best when your not feeling well. We grew up drinking it and buying it regularly when sick (yes from midwest)

We never had it in MA, but they had it in Ohio. Now I'm in GA, and I haven't noticed if they sell it here or not.

Just saw Vernor's last nite on the Food Channel. Can't recall which show.

I don't know if I am remembering correctly, but I think I preferred Vernors ginger ale to Canada Dry. I hated Vernors cream soda...ick.

We get Vernors here in Arizona! Nothing better for mixing in some whiskey!
