Oh yeah! And I'm going to need some ideas for alfredo - because DH and DD love when I make it! So far I've made it with shrimp and chicken. The only problem is they want it all the time and its soooo heavy, lol . So bring it on!!!!!!!!!!

Tomorrow it's short ribs. I haven't decided if I'm making them in a stew, or trying to recreate the braised shortribs with rootbeer glaze I had in a restaurant. I don't have root beer, but I figure Coke would work. We'll see...
Anyway, if you ever see boneless short ribs at the store (I only find them occasionally) grab them because they are super flavorful in any slow cooking recipe.

I just saw a program on TV America's Test Kitchen and she swore that Root Beer was the intangible special ingredient in her BBQ for Kansas City Ribs...not Coke but Root Beer! I wouldn't second guess on that one...unless it was Moxie!

I have a wonderful old recipe for short rib stew with parsley dumplings that my mom always made for my birthday. will see if I can dig it out, and post it over the weekend. i always have to ask the butcher to order short ribs in for me, I wonder why they are so hard to get?

Default Chicken Carbonnara and crusty bread

It's one of the Apron's Simple Meals from Publix grocery. Every time I make it, my husband tells me it's wonderful and it's soo easy!
