Oh sorry Elston. I sauted small diced onion, apple, fennel, celery, red pepper, garlic - added carraway seed and parsley then added it to rice. Something was missing and someone suggested adding sage.

Cabbage rolls! Yep, finally made up my mind after a little talk with lacey as to her recommendations as to how I should cook them once thawed. I use to just microwave them but never was really happy with how they turned out. So I will bake them in a very low heat in the oven. I'll make some mashed potatoes to go along with them and some crusty bread. Maybe tomorrow I'll make the steak fajitas. I've never made fajitas and have been looking over some recipes but if any of you have a good recipe for them I would rather go with those I know I can trust and would love to hear how you make them.

TACO SOUP
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef, browned
1 onion, chopped
1 can kidney beans, undrained
1 can chili beans, undrained
1 can whole kernel corn, undrained
2 cans diced tomatoes with green chilis, undrained
1 pkg. Ranch Salad Dressing Mix
1 pkg. Taco Seasoning Mix
1 1/2 cups water

Combine all ingredients in crock pot! Cook on low for 4 - 6 hours!
Top each bowl with shredded cheese and fritos!! ENJOY!!
It was great Bebette. The only thing I did different was used frozen corn.

I looked back today in the thread called Soups and I ended up making the Tortilla Soup.
I don't like things too spicy and this has the perfect combo.
A few of the ingredients I substituted like V-8 for tomato juice.
I doubled the recipe that was given and it made a large spaghetti pot full.

Very good soup and low fat.
