She sure doesn't beat around the bush...and if I want to keep eating all those home made Italian dinners best I shave, get dressed and get ready to eat seafood.

Thanx Molochai and Mikens!!

Get thee to the restaurant RCG!!!!

With the weather didn't feel much like going out so DH just went out to pick up a bunch of our favorites from the Chinese restaurant. This way I get to enjoy the beautiful flowers my kids' sent, have a couple of drinks and relax.

Enjoy all.

You can make many variations and it still tastes good. My only suggestion is to make sure the chicken cooks with the rice and broth. Otherwise, the chicken tastes bland. And I always remove the skin from the chicken before cooking. Here's a link to the recipe --> Columbia Restaurant - Featured Recipes & Wines
Thanks Karen for the recipie! Maybe I will try and make this weekend..

Default Shrimp Supper Update

This just in from the C-D newsroom.....

My sauteed shrimp turned out just fine. But I ran out of garlic powder and had to resort to onion powder. It worked out, anyway. I melted some butter for great shrimp dipping. Had a salad on the side with french dressing.

It was a good night to clean out the fridge. Had a coupla slices of left over pancetta, chopped it up and sauted it with a diced onion, melted in an anchovy filllet and a coupla cloves of garlic, added chopped sun-dried tomatoes and oil-cured black olives and tossed with pasta. Add a little grated cheese, crusty bread, and a glass or two of red wine and life is good
