Just take it easy Molochai! Your body knows best and when you can get up with little pain or at least tolerable pain that is soon enough. If you try to early you could just make the pain last longer and the healing take longer. I have a hard time staying down and I did get up to early after a major foot surgery only to make it worse! Just relax and enjoy being taken care of!
I think the margaritas are out of my system now---my body sure wasn't very happy with me! Think I'll stick with water and juice for awhile now! Tonight hubbie is doing a roast on the BBQ. It turns out so wonderful that way. He cooks it on the rotisserie. Yum!!

I have a question......Not exactly a cooking question well I guess it is because I was cooking at the time and I put a plastic plate on a hot burner and it stuck to the burner.
Does anyone out there know how to get this off a burner as it has hardened and I don't want to have to replace the burner.

All suggestions will be appreciated.
Try putting the burner, is it's from a gas stove, into the sick with hot water and the Cascade complete. Let it soak for as long as necessary. That Cascade Complete really works wonders so maybe.....also use a straight edge razor for the hard to get places. I also use that "Goof-Off" for many things but don't know if it would work on plastic. Burning it off would also work but it sure would smell bad and as already said it may not be to healthy. You'd have to go outside for awhile and leave all fans on and windows open! Good luck!

I would worry about going outside and leaving plastic burning in the kitchen..

Cauliflower
Steaks stuffed with low fat bacon and cheese, rolled in egg and in bread crumbs and baked in some oil

Oh elston I agree. You could definitely keep a watch on it from outside and keep checking on it I would think. I just don't think standing next to it while it was burning off is a great idea. But yes, it would have to be closely watched. Perhaps burning it off would be the last resort!!

Thank you all...I will try them all..It is an electric stove with individual burners so I can pull it out.
I will start with the freezer first as that works for wax.

Again..thanks!!!!!!!
Have a great Sunday!

If you have to resort to burning it off get a disposable aluminum roasting pan, light some charcoal in it and burn it off outside, that should take care of it.

Elston--I've always liked the swordfish/olive pairing, griiled swordfish dressed with tapenade is a quick, tasty main dish.

Tomato wraps filled with BBQ pork, Vidalia onions, & jalapeno peppers dripping with some Sweet Baby Ray's, Brussels spouts, pickled beets. And the balance of the chocolate pudding will get my attention a little later in the evening before it can be confiscated.
