Also heard some part of TX is going to get in the triple digits today! Crazy un-normal weather I am telling ya.

Jaxson.......no philly cheese steaks. being from Philly I have had many in my lifetime besides it is lent.

Glad you are home safe lacey. Hope Mr L is better by the time you have to come east.

Ransomed welcome to an awesome thread!

Lacey glad you got a few things done today. Sorry DH has to remain inpatient but you are correct at least the docs are there.

ECG from our different threads together I know you are getting settled in your new digs. Nice to finally be cooking in them.

EM I suppose you are right having grown up there but I don't think I could ever tire of them. Been a few years now since we have been in Philly but I still water up thinking about them.

Wow, had another relatively early departure from work today, while there was even still daylight in the sky! I could get used to this if I practiced for a while, though since the financial cycle starts up again on Monday, it's doubtful that I'll have much opportunity.

Spouse had the hungries for spicy comfort food tonight, so is fixing carne guisada, and it smells simply wonderful; I'm having a hard time not drooling on the keyboard. We picked up some sopas last weekend when we were at the grocery store, and he's going to warm them up in a skillet to ladle the carne guisada over. I'm planning to garnish mine with cheese (hey, it's Wisconsin, gotta have the cheese) and possibly a dollop of garlic Cholula.

Welcome to the new posters who've joined us; hope you stay and have fun here! And have a great evening, all. Happy weekend!

So now what am I supposed to cook.

I made the Green Soup for lunch, it tastes like green nothing. Not going to be on my top 5.

Have a great afternoon everyone. kelsie
Is there a possibility it could be diverticulitis Glad the tests came back fine.
I guess you'll still be cooking bland sorry.

It was a long week today

Local market makes chicken parm as well as I can and when it's on special for two bucks a serving I wouldn't even try to compete.

I did make the garlic bread and will of course take credit for 'cooking' dinner

TGIF!

Kat- Your dinner sounds delicious.

Lacey- Glad you are home safe and sound. I'm sorry Mr. L will be in until next week. Enjoy that cheeseburger. It is so worth it.

ECG- Enjoy your new home.

Well dinner was ok. I made tuna patties and had green beans. I should have had the healthy pancakes and fresh strawberry syrup. Maybe tomorrow.

Burdell-did you turn the oven on????? Well hey that's cooking.

Burger was groanable-salad loaded with black olives, grape tomatoes, yellow peppers, red onion, mushrooms BUT I still wish I was with Elston tonight.

Kelsie-let him eat-maybe it was the peanuts.

Happy and ready for TV and a nite's sleep.

Nite Kats and all.
