I tried a new recipe - sauteed boneless chicken breast with bell peppers (red, green and yellow), onion and garlic in balsamic vinegar. A side of garlic and parsley steamed red potatoes.

Hungarian pepper and tomato stew over kluski (potato noodles) home made angel floss coleslaw, cucumber salad with dill and sour cream and a cold bottle of Redd's Apple Ale.

Desert - peach cobbler. I love cobblers in the summer - so easy and just sweet enough.

Everything but the noodles and ale from the local Farmer's Market!

Forget the ground chicken, store had a sale on cod fillets so I bought those. Will throw some slap ya mama on them and blacken them to go alongside with cracked potatoes and veggies.

We are eating something quick because we got invited last minute to my SIL's to celebrate my niece's 17th birthday. Hubby is having a grilled ham and cheese and I am having PB on rye toast with coffee. We have to be there by 7pm and hubby only gets home at 6:30 pm. For dessert it will be cake and coffee. My SIL is notorious for doing things last minute.

I finally ventured out of the house today and went to the store. I bought a lovely whole rainbow trout, but I think I was overly-ambitious.
Yesterday I had a bowl of soup and 3 cherries.
