Just had a chicken sandwich from Chick-fil-a. Never would want to spend the same amount of money on a meal with a McDonalds chicken sandwich. They don't compare.

Default I am a pro at rating fast food

McDonald's is very good. Chick-fil-a is pretty good. Cook Out is ok, as long as it is cooked all the way. Bojangles has a pound of grease in it, but good.

I vote for McDonald's, I believe they put olive oil on the bun. It makes it mm mm Good!

Default Free Southern Style Chicken Sandwich TODAY ONLY (May 15) at McDonalds

I think this is a regional thing, but I am sitting in my RTP office eating my free Southern Style chicken sandwich right now. The local McDs said the offer goes until 7pm. Free sandwich with the purchase of a medium or large drink!

Test it out, compare to Chick Fil A or your favorite chicken sandwich!

I personally think Chick Fil A is much better, but hey, free sandwich!

I tried the new country chicken sandwich at McDonalsd today and it was extremely disappointing. My description is crunchy yet flavorless. Even the pickles seemed bland. It wasn't quite like eating cardboard, but it was close. The sandwich had no distinct flavor, not even salt. It was just BAD. Don't waste calories on this sandwich - head to Chik-Fil-A. Chik-Fil-A may be a guilty pleasure, but at least you enjoy it.

Exactly our opinion.

Mickey's blew it here in the South. Maybe other areas wouldn't know what Southern style means.

There's another thread on this.

Most feel ChickFilA is much better.

We had chic fila the first time heading down to nc in virginia.....I had a wrap and stole a bunch of my sons..nuggets...the were yummy.....we dont have any here on long island but if we did I would go there first......

But I do have to say my husband became Obsessed with your sweet tea while we were down there and is quite happy that McDonalds is now offering it.....although I'm going to go buy the tea bags and try making it for him at home......
