Recently we had chili dogs for dinner and had some dogs leftover. Then I had a craving for BBQ sauce on a hot dog. Hadn't done that in a long time. Just BBQ sauce or add onion and nuke some cheese on it.

How have you dressed your dogs?

Mayo and relish if both are available. If not, I usually opt for just ketchup.

Not a big hot dog fan but we will occasionally have them for lunch on the weekend. I'm a purist. Just mustard. Once in a very great while, relish. Hubby eats them with ketchup, mustard, Miracle Whip, and jalapenos, preferably grilled jalapenos. He will eat chili dogs. I will not.

I like them with as much stuff on them as I can possibly get. I don't always have it, but I love them with cole slaw.

Mayo?

Mustard, onions, kraut. Relish if no kraut.

Sometimes I do ketchup and mustard but nothing else.

I only do cheese if its a chili dog and also onions.

Anything else is salad fixins. Leave it at that.

Usually I have mustard, onions, and sauce on my hotdogs. Sometimes it is mustard, onions, and sauerkraut, and sometimes it is mustard, onions, and sweet relish. When I worked in Philly, most of the corner hotdog carts had onions cooked in a sauce, which was also very good.

I have no idea except that it was some type of spicy tomato sauce. The onions were sweet and the sauce was great. The hot dogs needed nothing else. I am sure there is a current Philly person who can answer this for both of us.
