Chickpea salad I made myself from home: can of chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained & rinsed & tossed with clove of minced garlic, finely chopped red onion, a diced Roma tomato from my garden, fresh cilantro, red wine vinegar, evoo, salt & pepper. And for dessert the last 2 peaches from my tree..yum!
I had my dinner at lunch the way I know it from Germany . I had spaghetti with pasta sauce,a green garden salad,lassi and for dessert a bowl of homemade plain yogurt with fresh peaches.
Today was my mom's birthday so the family took her to lunch at a new Applebee's restaurant near my home. I had the all-you-can-eat crosscut barbecue ribs with French fries and coleslaw. Frozen lemonade with mango puree to drink.
